Key Responsibilities:
● Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the relevant industry standards and regulations.
● Perform electrical work with a primary focus on solar energy solutions, including the installation of solar panels, inverters, and energy storage systems.
● Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure the successful completion of solar installation projects.
● Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and develop solutions to resolve them effectively.
● Ensure the safety and quality of work through the use of proper tools, equipment, and adherence to safety procedures.
● Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments, electrical codes, and best practices.
Qualifications:
● A Grade Electrical License and certification from the Clean Energy Council (CEC) as a Solar Electrician.
● 1 to 2 years of experience as an A Grade Electrician, including prior experience as an apprentice.
● Strong knowledge of electrical systems, with a focus on solar energy solutions.
● Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar panels, inverters, and energy storage systems.
● Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
● A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Valid driver’s license.
● Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
