AN EXCELLENT END TO END EXPERIENCE I installed 11.3kW of solar panels in April 2026. Kasper from Amazing Solar was a proactive, responsive sales consultant who clearly explained system options and guided me through quoting and planning. Quotes were fast, and the price was competitive, which made the decision easy. Installation scheduling took a few weeks, and then another four weeks for the inspector — a bit frustrating, especially since follow-up calls promised by the service team didn't always come through. On installation day, Zahir and his team were friendly, professional, and careful not to crack roof tiles, and left the work area clean. It unfortunately took another 4 more weeks for the system to be commisioned by the inspector and I had raised it with the customer service team. After going live, the system showed persistently low generation. This took considerable effort to diagnose, involving close coordination with GoodWe, and eventually the GoodWe inverter itself was replaced. That fixed part of the issue, but generation was still lower than expected, so a second round of diagnostics was needed. This whole process was case-managed by Dave, the technical team lead, who worked across GoodWe, my distributor United Energy, Advantage Solar (Battery provider) and my retailer OVO to track it down — the remaining cause turned out to be the 5kW grid export limit not being actioned by United Energy following the inverter swap. To Dave's credit it was his persistence that got it resolved. Credit also to GoodWe for lending support to the entire process. This whole experience justified paying a premium over a smaller installer with a limited service proposition. Amazing Solar's size and market presence gives me confidence that after-sales support will be there when needed. This is critical for solar installations as they rarely work perfectly from the start. Was a long journey with its ups and downs but 5 stars for sales AND Service.
